Henry is a Senegalese fisherman who lives and works in the Netherlands. While he spends most of the year in Amsterdam, he travels back to West-Africa every winter, where he nowadays fishes with tourists. être présent is an adventure story about keeping up appearances, some fish and starring a contested hero of our modern world.
