MA Visual Anthropology Showcase 2019.

By Posted in - News on October 8th, 2019

Our MA in Visual Anthropology cohort 2018-19 will soon graduate. Join us at the screening of their documentary films and exhibition of their multimedia works.

The event, called Through the Looking Glass, is a unique opportunity to witness our students’ best efforts after a year of hard work. It will take place at Partisan Collective in Manchester, on the 19th and 20th of October. This year the works will include themes as broad as chronic illness, wild swimming, poetry and abortion, and styles as diverse as ethnofiction, animation, observational and slow cinema. The students will screen 16 films and present 5 exhibitions.

Whether you have studied with us or are just interested in anthropology, documentary films and audio-visual media, we would love to see you there.

More details and full programme on the Facebook event page.

Would it be possible to receive the full programme for the event Through the Looking Glass without being forced to support and be on Facebook?
